i don't understand whyyyyyy they had to change up the story like that. i mean c'monnn, why couldn't they include maximilian kohler in the damn movie?! he's such a prominent character kot?! i could imagine dah what he'd look like, and everything :( and who the hell is silvano bentivoglio?! idk why they had to change leonardo vetra's character to silvano bentivoglio?! it doesn't make sense! leo vetra is supposed to be vittoria's dad kot, why couldn't they even stick to that?! and isn't the hassassin supposed to be a middle-eastern guy? tu pun nak kena tukar ke? aaand how come vittoria wasn't kidnapped (adult-napped???) by the hassassin?? okay and why didn't cardinal baggia just die like he was supposed to?? why didn't they include the story abt the late pope actually being the camerlengo's dad?? that's the whole reason he killed the pope anyway kan?! i don't get it lah seriously. i mean like if you wanna make a movie that's based on an actual book then just follow what happens lah. what, if it's made into a movie suddenly it becomes controversial?? what's the diff with having it in a book anyway?? the knowledge still reaches the public through books doesn't it?? or don't the ppl who'd make a big fuss over the whole controversial matter actually read? hmmm. it's such a big let down lah seriously. i understand the racial/religious matters that are attached to the context of the story but like if you change it up then it just isn't the same now, is it? :( haa and the thing me and syith didn't get most was whyyyyyy they changed the illuminati diamond to some other vatican symbol instead (the two crossed keys). i mean c'mon when you think abt it, what could possibly be wrong with the illuminati diamond?? it's just a combination of all the earth, air, fire & water ambigrams put together but distorted into a different shape and angle right? so disappointed :( how could you turn such a great book into such a not-so-great-at-all movie? and the whole movie was just so rushed, it lost the sense of mystery and suspence and it's like they had all the answers in their head the whole time, it looked effortless when actually in the book they were struggling and discussing the theories and sculptures and history so intensely, the movie robbed the story of its mysteriousness and oh well it just wasn't that fun :(

went to OU with julian sean shuyi alishia yesterday, had lunch at sushi groove (trying to keep up with the "eating healthy" plan hehe) aaand i finally got some new books to read! :DDD i bought the complete jane austen set, except for pride and prejudice coz i already hv that one hehe :) i've started reading persuasion already, as soon as i got home! :D only a few chapters though so the plot hasn't really thickened yet. and i also bought a copy of jane eyre written by charlotte bronte :D and i just found out there's a jane eyre movie but it was made in '96 so it might be hard to get my hands on a copy of that but i really wanna watch it if it's possible :) went to toysrus as well and got myself 2 more ponies to add to my 'my little pony' collection, i am a happy girl indeed! :DDD
might be going to tenji for dinner on monday night w alishia & shuyi, the japanese dining enthusiasts :) salmoooon here i come. the lalala movie marathon might take place during the 1st week of june, hope i'll finally be able to join this time around coz i was in melb when they had the last one hehe :D and i promise i won't be as non-responsive as i used to be during the previous hols hehe, i'll try! :D
anyway, watched 'return to oz' the other night on tv hahaha it was so exciting! me and zizi used to loveee that movie when we were kids and it scared the poop out of us! the wheelers! OMG! hahaha those were the scariest things EVER okay?! seriously one of the most disturbingly nasty and scary fictional characters EVER! and MOMBI, homaigosh! she's scary too hahahaha. the movie was made in 1985 and the actress who plays dorothy gale is also that girl in the WATERBOY and AMERICAN HISTORY X! i knew those eyes were too familiar! hehehe.

so, so far my classic movie marathon has been going pretty good :) was even better watching these movies now coz i can fully understand what's being said etc haha like in beauty and the beast, clocksworth makes a joke abt the neo-classicism era and baroque while taking belle on a tour of the castle lol who'd understnd that as a 5 y/o kid right?! hehehe "like i always say, if it isn't baroque, don't fix it" LOL! hahaha ok wtv. developed a ridiculously huge crush on prince eric from the little mermaid all over again hahaha he's so handsome! :DDD

YESSS, i have finally started my 5 months break from college :D i am stoked, so many things i can't wait to do :)
anywaaay, reckon i'd make a list of the things i'd like to do during this 5 month vacation :)
- go to a GOOD bookstore and stock up on loads & loads of good books to read coz i'm kinda getting sick of repeating the same good books i've already read TOO MANY times over & over again until i know the lines and pages by heart :s any suggestions? i'd much prefer to go to times in pavillion coz the selection is TDF, but i'd never drive there all alone :( and the only places i'd drive to are curve & ou or something. haih kl is outta bounds, for now. been dying to read persuasion by jane austen after i watched the jane austen book club movie, hee. i've read sense & sensibility and pride & prejudice so i haven't a doubt that persuasion will be just as good :)
- hiking, jungle trekking/tracking oh you know what i mean, wall climbing, kayaking, archery, outdoorsy stuff like that. who's up for that? :D there's this great place me & zi once did all that, and it's in club med cherating, who wants to goooo? who wants to take me?? :D
- picnic, AGAIN. coz the last one we had was kinda messed up :( proper organising this time and probably not too high expectations should do the trick ;) hee.
- swimming swimming swimming, coz the weather's been crazyyy.

the kbu iad club had this easter egg hunt thingy yesterday and i took part, so tak malu right? was the only one there who isn't studying iad, hehe. had a tonne of tiring fun though. alot of unexpected drama happened, even before the games started LOL. i dunno what's wrong with me, i hv a tonne of work left undone yet i went to college on a day that i didn't hv to, to take part in an event that i'm not supposed to be allowed to, haha. tak sedar diri okaaay got kerja bertimbun at home waiting for me :S hehehe. and i have a presentation later on today and I CAN'T WAIT TO GET THAT DONE. it has been sooooo stressful so i'll be soooo happy when it's all over. heee, okay he was greatahhh! best gila okay :) i am so happy i went hehehe. i went with my sister and her friends kin & acap coz none of my friends wanted to go and the bf wasn't around hehehe. it was gilaaa best ok :) we were in the rock zone and mula mula we were standing at this place that was like gila at the back and in the middle of a jungleee of tall ppl so mmg tak nampak sgt lah kan hehe theeen kin found this super better place for us to stand instead which was somewhere near the left side of the stage and right infront of the tepi stage there and this big kipas! :D heheh thank god! the show was kinda kejap lah but worth it :) hehe. okayy.
hv been busy w college coz we're having this group project thingy where we hv to make a short movie heheh it's kinda cool lah the movie making part buttt the procedures before the shooting and stuff is so tedious and i-don't-like. i hatee storyboarding coz i can't draw aaand it's mostly just repetitive drawing which just annoys me hehe :) buut our storyline is kinda nice (coz me and wendy came up with it so yeah imagine ponies, talking flowers and dancing trees that also gives presents heehhe) i can't really decide whether or not i like group projects. coz yeah it's great that you don't hv to do all the work by yrself and you get the chance to work with other ppl whose style of work might vary from yours and that's always er, interesting. hee. buuut on the downside there's always that slight chance of you getting stuck in a group with ppl you'd rather not work with and are um, hard to agree with? hehe ok i'm sure you get what i mean :) other than that it's all good :)
