Hi :)
Last Sunday me, Zizi, Aliya and Hana went on our very first Australian road trip to Geelong :) we borrowed Ariff's car for the occasion coz the rented cars were kinda expensive and we didn't wanna pay that much. Left around 10 am, Hana drove! Hehehe she's so good at it, I wouldn't dare to drive over here, lol dah lah it was her first time :D the journey didn't take that long, only abt like 1 hour or so, then once we were in Geelong we decided to head to the Great Ocean Road. Otw there we passed this little market thing and decided to stop and have a look around :) there were lotsa nice artsy stalls and stuff but I didn't really buy anything. I wanted to but I didn't hee, I controlled myself :) I did however end up buying one canvas bag that has little birds and lions and other animals on it coz I need an A3 sized bag for college anyway :D and it was a bargain, only 10 bucks! There were also lotsa stalls selling food, like corn and calamari and they had this barbecue stall with hotdogs and everything and it smelled soooo good but we had to refrain ourselves coz it wasn't halal so yeah :( after that we were on the road again, and once we were nearing GOR we got all excited coz we could see the ocean and it's sooo pretty and amazing and we could feel the sea breeze and everything :) it was magical! Hee so we stopped for a while at the road side and took some pictures (of course!) hehe :)
Then we headed back towards Geelong city which is kinda nice too, just a little deserted coz it was Easter and some of the shops were closed, not like we wanted to go shopping or anything hehe, we headed to the pier. Aliya wanted to get her paella so we looked around for it and found it and we ended up getting some food too. We brought out our pre-packed food from home and blanket and sat down by the grass and it was so best and relaxing lah :) hehe. The weather was really nice too, sunny & windy; my favourite :) we had prawns, fruits, chips and ice cream. Aliya was so gatal to feed the seagulls so she took some of our sandwiches and fed them hahaha and then a whole lot of them came and surrounded her and they made these funny noises and it was kinda scary lah coz they kept their eyes on her and macam nak attack! Hahaha but it was funny too lol. They kept following her around, hehe! After that we took some pictures by the pier and headed back to Melb city and it was Aliya's turn to drive :)

Once we got to the city, we went to St Kilda for dinner coz we all felt like having nachos :) went to this place called Amigos and the food was really nice, we had seafood nachos, quesadillas and grilled prawn salad :) after that we drove around the city and went to Brunswick St and we're planning to go there soon for a little shopping trip since there are a lot of nice boutiques over there :) so yeah the whole trip was really nice eventhough it wasn't that long hehe had lots of fun and I'm sure we'll have another road trip soon :D

EASTER HOLIDAYS HAVE STARTED :D
Class was okay yesterday, had a progress review in the morning class and that went well I guess? :) two more weeks to finish up that project. The afternoon class was kinda dull coz we didn't do much, had to do work in class but everyone knows I can't get any work done in college heh heh. So that's when I decided to take a few (ok just two haha) pics of my classroom to show to Ju and Sean hehehe hv a look:
Okay I dunno why it's small here hehe but yeah hopefully it's clear enough.
Yup the walls in the middle can go up and down, so if it's a small class then the walls go down, and if there's a lot of ppl then the walls go up hehe. Everyone here uses a Mac, it's like a law or something hahaha. This is just the basic studio classes, I'll take pics of the lecture theaters next hehe but have to wait until college resumes so it might take a while :)

Okay so far so good, I've been posting twice in a row already haha :)
Had class at 9.30am this morning, the weather was kinda gloomy and it rained a little while I was getting ready to go to class. Stopped right before I walked out the door, hehe. Speaking of walking, I've been doing a lottt of that lately haha obviously, since we don't hv a car here and don't want one anyway (can't imagine driving here, don't even like driving when I'm back home haha) so yeah, we practically walk everywhere over here, to the supermarket, to the market, to class, anytime we go out. Unless of course we're going somewhere a bit outta the city then we'll take the trams but no matter what, you can't escape walking hehe kinda happy about it coz I kinda think it's like exercise BUT at the same time more walking = getting tired more = eating more. BOO. But oh well at least it's better than nothing. And there are lots of uphill roads so I guess that's good, at least I'm getting someee form of exercise hehe.
Anyway back to how my day was...
Had drawing & illustration class today, we had to do storyboarding (MY LEAST FAVE THING TO DO omg I've never liked it, repeating images and all that and I can never get them to look the same) based on play-doh characters that we made in class last week hehe. Surprisingly the lecturer (Alex, that guy with a "thing" for Z names) showed my storyboard to the class as an example of how to do it heh heh, he said my sketches were good? Okay hahahahaha that's so not me. Anywaaay that kinda made my day so I was happy :) :) class ended at 12.30pm and bought some groceries after that.
Easter holidays are starting soon :) hv a full day of class tmrw, 9.30 - 12.30 and 1.30 - 4.30 :( there's no class on Wednesdays for me hehehe just like in KBU :D and there's no lecture this Thursday so tmrw's my last day of classes before the Easter holidays start :) can't wait to get most of my work done so I can enjoy the end half of hols. Mama's coming to visit this 15th :) :)
Okaaay should get back to doing my work now, byee!

WE WERE IN THE CAR WHEN IT HAPPENED AND ZI WAS LIKE 'YOU WANNA HEAR IT ON THE RADIO OR FIND OUT WHEN YOU WATCH IT AT HOME LATER?' THEN MAMA AND ME WERE LIKE 'ALAAA WHATEVER LAH, WE ALREADY KNOW WHO'S GONNA WIN DAH, SO TERE THE COMPETITION, WATCH AT HOME JE LAH NANTI' LOL.

haven't been doing much lately, feels like i've been staying at home a lot and the days just feel soooo long for some reason, heh. anyhoo, watched push with syith the other day and it was okaaay lah, dakota fanning's all grown up! hehe i used to think she was annoying and not that big of a deal anyway but she's an eye opener alright! i sound so gay :] she's v pretty in that jessica stam kinda way, super skinny and tall. bought a couple of books as well, finally got my hands on a copy of wuthering heights :D i've been looking for it for awhile now and the one i bought was actually the last copy they had on the shelves :D anyhoo. for some unknown reason me and syith rarely take pics together, heh i kinda just realised that :S lol. sooo in honour of that;
